Stogie T Pays Tribute To AKA In “Survivor’s Remorse”
AKA’s passing was a great loss for the entire country as well as the hip-hop music community. Stogie T has performed a freestyle he called “Survivor’s Remorse” as a final tribute.The song “Survivor’s Remorse” talks about the rapper’s unimaginable pain and how his passing has left many others feeling empty within.The opening line of the freestyle’s imagery is taken from Psalm 51:10, which says, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” After that, Stogie T gives a moving explanation of his ideas while weaving in clips of AKA.Other musicians who unfortunately passed away are remembered, notably Costa Titch and Tibz, AKA’s longtime friend and former manager.
