NEWS: SAMA29 List of Nominees

SAMA29 has arrived. This year’s edition, titled ‘Music Has It All,’ will honor the beauty of South African sounds and the creative business.

The South African Music Awards (SAMA29) announced the full list of candidates yesterday. The 29th SAMA candidates were revealed at the Soweto Theatre, with Young Stunna performing live.

This year’s edition of SAMA is noteworthy because it represents a shift in SAMA’s selections. DJ Maphorisa and AKA received the most nominations, each with seven, and were closely followed by Kabza De Small, who received six.

RISA brings us SAMA29, with KZN EDTEA as the principal collaboration and SABC1, Department of Sports Arts & Culture, CAPASSO, SAMPRA, SAMRO, PRASA, and Icebolethu Group as sponsors/partners.
